The Australian parliament has approved anti-terror law that would see its nationals losing dual citizenship if convicted of terrorism offences.
The new law primarily targets Australian Muslims who have joined ISIS in the Middle East.
The law prevents ISIS terrorists from returning to Australia.
According to some media reports (Video embedded below) there are concerns laws that strip dual-national terrorists of their Australian citizenship could damage the country's reputation with Muslim countries.
Australia, like any other sovereign country, has the right to defend itself and its citizens even by striping citizenship to terrorists.
